Dave Ockun

A prominent figure in the live entertainment industry with a distinguished history in tour and production management, Dave Ockun's journey commenced as a radio DJ at the age of 13, sparked by a momentous call with legendary promoter Bill Graham. After Bill's death, Dave reached out to artists and music executives to share their memories of Bill on his radio show. Over the course of three years, Dave interviewed dozens of stars and notable individuals including: Carlos Santana, Richie Havens, Marty Balin, Eddie Money, Ken Kesey, Phil Ramone, Ron Delsener, Huey Lewis and a multitude of others about Bill. In 1992 and 1993, Dave produced "Laughter, Love & Memories," a radio tribute in Bill's memory. Little did he know, spinning records as a teenager would set the stage for a prolific career in live entertainment, where he would wear multiple hats and secure roles with some of the industry's giants.

In the summers of '94 and '95, Dave worked for Claude Nobs as part of the technical crew at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, with over 70 acts including Bob Dylan, Paul Rodgers, Brian May, Van Morrison and past music legends: Johnny Cash, BB King, and James Brown.

Mentored early in his career by legendary tour manager Patrick Stansfield and show producer Keith Kevan had Dave working on many shows, events and festivals including: Neil Diamond, The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber, The Pope at Central Park, Milton Berle's 90th Birthday Celebration, Reggae Culturama, Goodwill Games, The Montreux Jazz Festival at Central Park, The Rolling Rock Town Fair and Eric Clapton’s Crossroads at Madison Square Garden. Dave's trajectory also encompassed in his early years roles as a stagehand for Local 1 I.A.T.S.E, operations manager for Summerfest, and event manager at The Manhattan Center.

Throughout his illustrious career, Dave has worked for renowned promoters including: Delsener/Slater Enterprise, Clear Channel Entertainment, Avalon Attractions & Live Nation and has worked extensively as a promoter representative on countless shows and festivals of all sizes including: Aerosmith, Beyonce, Barbara Streisand, Britney Spears, The Eagles, Tom Petty, and U2. Dave also held previous roles as Production Manager of North America Touring for Live Nation and Director of Production at the iconic Capitol Theatre, often collaborating during his tenure with his past employer and dear friend Peter Shapiro.

With over three decades of experience, Dave has toured with a range of headlining acts in music including: Barry Manilow, Backstreet Boys, Jay-Z, The Monkees, Melissa Etheridge, Nick Carter, and Vicente Fernandez to name a few.

In 2018, Dave gravitated towards producing shows and touring with renowned comedians, podcasters, and notable spoken word actors & entertainers. Recent touring clients include: Dave Chappelle ‘It’s a Celebration’ 2023 US Arena Tour (Production Manager), Tom Segura 'I’m Coming Everywhere' World Tour - 303 shows across over 20 countries (Tour Producer) and Schitt’s Creek - Up Close and Personal US & Canada Tour (Tour Director).

As the owner of Platinum Road, he continues to leave an indelible mark, orchestrating unforgettable experiences and shaping the future landscape of live entertainment with his unwavering passion and expertise.

Steve Roman

Steve Roman is a seasoned professional in the live entertainment industry, with a career that spans over three decades. His illustrious career kicked off in 1984 as a lighting technician, touring with influential acts like X, Slayer, Testament, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, and Metallica. Notably, Steve was the first Lighting Designer for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. In 2000, Steve seamlessly transitioned to stage management, touring with some of the top artists today including: Dave Chappelle, Gwen Stefani, No Doubt, KISS, Lady Gaga, Pink!, Trans Siberian Orchestra, Backstreet Boys, and One Republic.

His ability to navigate the complex dynamics of working with promoters, venues, and unions has been a key factor in his success, earning him the recognition from his peers by receiving multiple Stage Manager of the Year awards presented by Live Production Summit (LPS). Having solid relationships worldwide and an incredible work ethic further cementing his status as one of the top stage managers in the live industry.

Marcus Johnson

Marcus Johnson, a distinguished Security Specialist, is renowned for his extensive expertise in VIP personal security, executive protection, and venue safety within the corporate and entertainment realms. With a wealth of experience managing large-scale security operations globally, Marcus has become a trusted figure in safeguarding high-profile entertainers and executives. Notable artists under his protective wing include Michael Jackson, Madonna, Fleetwood Mac, Backstreet Boys, Blink 182, Fall Out Boy, Tom Segura, Aerosmith, and a myriad of other entertainers. His consistent dedication has earned Marcus a well-deserved reputation for reliability and excellence.

Trained in electronic surveillance, counter-surveillance, and evasive driving, Marcus ensures top-tier security and safety measures. His commitment to physical fitness, combined with proficiency in various self-defense and crowd-control methods, underscores his ability to tackle complex security challenges. Having toured in over 70 countries, Marcus is well-acquainted with security protocols, and his exceptional communication skills make him adept at navigating diverse environments.
